As a freelancer, you should always have a Statement of Work (SOW) in place before you begin working with a client. This applies whether you're being paid through WNW Payments or not.

Simply put, a SOW is a written contract between you and the freelance client that defines the specific project you will be working on for them in detail.

It should include the names of the parties involved, the expected dates of employment, delivery dates, and any rights/disclosures/non-competition information as well as payment information.
